Official Closing of the Festival

On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the birth of Safet Isović, the SEVDAH Foundation and JU BKC KS are organising a grand concert homage to the great master of sevdalinka entitled “For the Soul and Remembrance – Safet Isović”. Participating in the programme are: Hanka Paldum, Rizo Hamidović, Ljubica Berak, Ferid Avdić, Kadira Čano, Hamid Ragipović – Besko, Hasiba Agić, Šefćet Hamidović – Ringo, and young performers of sevdalinka Safet Bučo, Hamza Šantić, Pavao Anić, Melika Karić, Memnun Muzaferija, Nejla Keškić Muzaferija, Namir Mašić, and Kenan Katadžić. Also participating in the programme will be distinguished masters of the spoken word, Academician Mile Stojić and Prof. Dr. Esad Bajtal, as well as the poet Benjamin Isović. The large orchestra of the SEVDAH Foundation will perform under the direction of Mr. Damir Galijašević, who is also the author of the concert script. Guests of the orchestra are instrumentalists who collaborated with Safet Isović for many years: Ante Filipović (accordion) and Suad Pašić – Paja (clarinet).

The programme hosts are Enisa Hajdarević-Šojko and Armin Redžić.
