ANNOUNCEMENT!

On Thursday, July 30, traffic will be temporarily suspended in certain streets across from City Hall due to the concert “For the Soul and Remembrance – Safet Isović”, which will be held in the square across from City Hall at 9:00 PM. The concert is taking place as part of the Baščaršija Nights festival, under the patronage of the Government of Sarajevo Canton, the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo, the Municipality of Centar Sarajevo, and the City of Sarajevo.

The traffic regime changes consist of: a temporary suspension of traffic on Obala Isa-bega Ishakovića Street for a length of 80 meters from the New Bridge to Alfakovac Street, Avdage Šahinagića Street, and the roads alongside the First Police Brigade Square.

The suspension and rerouting of traffic to alternative routes will be carried out by police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton on July 30 and July 31, 2026, during the established hours from 7:00 PM to 2:00 AM, on Obala Isa-bega Ishakovića Street and the roads alongside the First Police Brigade Square in Šeher Ćehajina čikma and Avdage Šahinagića streets.

The complete and temporary change to the traffic regime will be implemented as follows:

The complete temporary suspension of traffic on a section of Obala Isa-bega Ishakovića Street from the New Bridge to Alfakovac Street, and in Šeher Ćehajina čikma and Avdage Šahinagića streets, refers to a complete temporary traffic suspension, with the exception of public city transport.

The regulation of traffic flow on the section subject to the complete temporary suspension and at intersections where traffic is rerouted to alternative routes will be carried out by police officers of the Police Administration of the KS Ministry of Internal Affairs. After the designated time period, i.e., after the conclusion of the event, the regular traffic regime will be re-established.

On Obala Isa-bega Ishakovića Street for a length of 80 meters from the New Bridge to Alfakovac Street along the First Police Brigade Square, as well as on the roads alongside the First Police Brigade Square in Šeher Ćehajina čikma and Avdage Šahinagića streets, a complete temporary traffic suspension will be in effect, with the exception of public city transport.

Alternative movement routes for the section where traffic is completely suspended are the roadways that intersect with the closed streets.
