Brano Likić & Srđan Marjanović

Brano Likić is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian guitarist, arranger, poet, lyricist, composer, singer, and producer. He was one of the founders of the rock groups Oni and Formula 4 (together with Ljubiša Racić), where he gained his musical experience. In 1975, he founded his own group, Rezonansa, with which he performed throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina and the former Yugoslavia. In the late 1970s, he founded the rock group Baglama Bend, with whom he recorded several singles and an LP album. The majority of Sarajevo’s popular music during the 1980s and 1990s was recorded in his BLAP music studio. He is considered one of the most important pioneers of the Sarajevo pop-rock school. Through his production and recording work at Studio BLAP, he provided opportunities for many young and then-unknown musicians, including Dino Merlin, Plavi Orkestar, Bombaj Štampa, Crvena Jabuka, Bolero, Gino Banana, and numerous artists who later became leading figures of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian pop and rock scene. In the post-war period, Brano released eighteen solo music albums, performing primarily in his native language, but also in English and Spanish.

Srđan Marjanović (Banja Luka, 1952) is a singer-songwriter and guitarist. He performed with the groups Svitci, Usamljeni, and Gru, and in 1971 moved to Sweden, where he performed the repertoire of Donovan and Bob Dylan in clubs, accompanying himself on acoustic guitar and harmonica. He returned to Belgrade at the end of 1972 and began his career as an acoustic performer. At the Youth Festival in Subotica in 1973, he appeared with the song “Tražim” (“I Am Searching”) and won both the jury’s first prize and the award for best performance. He achieved major success with the song “Mi smo jedno drugom govorili Vi” (“We Addressed Each Other Formally”). He performed with the group SOS and frequently appeared as a guest at concerts of YU Grupa. In Belgrade, he performed as the opening act for Soft Machine. For many years, Srđan Marjanović has maintained intensive collaboration with journalist and cultural promoter Nikola Radanović, with whom he has frequently presented current literary works and solo concerts.
