Four Sisters

Cast: Milica Petković, Anastasija Vidović, Nikolina Bilandžija, Natalija Medojević and Nikola Radivojac.

A production by Banja Luka Student Theatre (BSP), directed by Aleksandar Pejaković, based on dramas fragments: Šeri Džons, Lujze Alkot, Tine Kosi, Helen Rapaport, Saša Anočić, Kokan Mladenović, Oliver Frljić, Alija Isaković, Miroslav Krleža and Dušan Kovačević, and author is Bogoljub Đorđović (pseudonym).

The play follows the lives of four sisters living in the same household with a student tenant. However, for personal reasons, they each declare different ethnic identities during the 2013 census—one as a Serb, one as a Croat, one as a Bosniak, and one as a Herzegovinian, identifying with the “Others” category. Despite sharing the same family history, their worldviews, values, and identities often clash. Through emotionally charged dialogue, the play explores how love, family bonds, and shared pasts can transcend even the most profound differences. It is a powerful reflection on contemporary life in Bosnia and Herzegovina, enriched with elements of humor, warmth, and irony.
