The concert is organized in cooperation with the embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The duo consists of cellist Reinhard Armleder and pianist Dagmar Hartmann, which has been founded in 1998.  Armleder and Dagmar have established themselves, not only by winning several international competitions, but as a successful and sought-after duo in Germany and abroad. In their repertoire, they concentrate on classical works from the period of romanticism and music of the 20th century. They are particularly interested in rediscovering lesser-known composers and works but are also dedicated to the music of the modern era. Today, their concert calendar includes regular tours throughout Europe, as well as in North, Central and South America, the Middle East, Asia and countries in southern Africa. To date, the Duo has travelled to 70 countries.
