Nikola Vranjković is a cult rock artist, songwriter, poet, composer, and music producer from Belgrade. For over a decade, he was a key creative figure in the Belgrade-based band Block Out, with whom he recorded four studio albums. His solo career includes five albums, featuring collaborations with members of bands Darkwood dub, Orthodox Celts, Goribor i Let 3. His position on the scene is independent and self-sustained — a unique phenomenon that has endured in various forms for over twenty-five years. In Duško Antonić’s book ”How Rock and Roll Didn’t Die in Serbia – The Top 100 Domestic Albums Since the Dissolution of SFRJ” in a compilation of voices from all the leading domestic music critics, he holds second place, just behind the band Partibrejkers.
