Sephardic Night is an attempt to preserve the culture and tradition of the Jews in Sarajevo. At the event, the famous B&H playwright and Travnik resident, Rusmir Agačević – Rus, also known as a TV actor, will present his new book entitled “Dream Stories about the Sephardim and Ashkenazi of Travnik”. These are short stories, written in phantasmagoric and almost poetic language that testify to true events, about the life of Jews not only in Travnik and Bosnia, but also in Paris, Moscow and around the world. All the characters from the dream stories are true and they were all born in Travnik, and through their lives we get to know the customs and occasions for many years in this area of ours. Vocal soloist Vladimir Mićković will perform as a guest at the promotion, showcasing some of the most beautiful Sephardic romances.
